Attitude refers to a lasting evaluation of a person, an idea, an object, a situation, or even a concept. Attitude is essentially how we judge and respond to the world around us. Attitude has the following components: Thoughts (cognition): The belief system you hold about the object of your attitude. For example, you might believe exercise is healthy (positive) or boring (negative). Feelings (affect): The emotional response you have towards something. You might feel excited about a new job (positive) or scared of public speaking (negative). Behaviors (tendencies): How you're inclined to act based on your thoughts and feelings.
